There are twenty-six feline residents - several of them rescue cats from a local shelter - at this conveniently located cafe just around the corner from Ueno station. The playroom is furnished with climbing trees, lots of empty boxes to explore, and fourteen seats for visitors. Entrance fees start at just Y350 for fifteen minutes (on weekdays), so you can check it out without a lot of risk before you commit yourself.

You can pay Y398 for unlimited soft drinks from the self-service refrigerator, or order fancier cafe drinks like cappucino a la carte. Other options include beer and cocktails, pastas, risotti and desserts.
